Troubleshooting a New iPad:


I. Setting Up a New iPad:

If you need to set it up, then do so using a computer, rather than on the iPad itself. Does that not work? Turn On and Set Up iPad - Apple Support


II. Troubleshooting WiFi:

A. Use Ethernet: For a Mac (or PC) that does not have Ethernet, this would be the adapter to use: Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Apple. If you get the same error, the model is likely just not capable of connecting.


B. Reset the Router:

If so, power off your router for 30 seconds, and then power it back on.
