can't log into Apple TV subscription - keep getting Start Free Trial

When opening Apple TV either on my Samsung smart tv or on my MacBook, I keep getting prompted to start the free trial, however I have had the subscription for a fair while now. I tried reinstalling the app on the tv and I also checked that my account is still active (which it is).

I’m having the same issue. I can open my app on my iPhone but cannot access it on my TV but have been watching it on my TV for two years. It keeps asking me to sign up for a 7 day trial.

my account is active and paid for. How can we correct?
