M1 Macbook Air Battery Health

I have had my Macbook Air for about 8 months now and it says I have the maximum battery capacity of 89%. I checked how many battery cycles the laptop has completed, and it says 70. Is this normal, as I feel the capacity should be much more for the short amount of time I have had it, and the low number of cycles completed.

Thanks

My 2016 MBP has been at 89% for over two years. The process is not linear and in fact may go up and down a bit over time. Cycle count is not a metric you use to determine battery health; capacity is.

If your Mac is operating properly, there's nothing to do. Once it does hit 80%, and that could be years, you'll need to service the battery. But until then just use your Mac and enjoy it.
