How do you find an AirDrop notification that disappears before you have a chance to open it?

Sometimes my husband sends me a link to an article while I'm reading something else, and it's gone before I'm ready to look at it. And by that time he's moved on to something else. Is it still available somewhere? (I don't use the Notifications Center because I find it distracting, but is that where it might be?)

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.5

Airdrop delivers to your Downloads folder—look there...

you can of course sort by date toggle to put most recent on top in your Finder window. (I typically use the date modified column)

Use AirDrop on your Mac to send files to devices near you
