Hi Zurmurmed,
To set the paper size and other print options on your Mac see:
If the text is still too small, you will need to make the text in the note bigger: Write and format notes on Mac.
Another option you can try is to export the note as a PDF before printing:
Hope this helps.
Take care

When the Print dialog dropdown list item Notes is selected, there is a checkbox item "Rewrap contents to fit page" that solves the problem. I have not found a mention of this on the InterWebThing, much less Apple's site.
Hey Zurmurmed,
Thanks for the additional information that other apps aside from Notes work without an issue. If you attempt printing in safe mode do you have the same experience? This can help tell us if the issue is possible items specific to the macOS. Be aware that internet access is limited in safe mode, but sometimes just starting in this mode and then restarting normally can resolve some issues: How to use safe mode on your Mac.
Cheers.
Basically, the Print dialog in Notes is not scaling pages properly. It may be a problem with the MacOS (Monterey) driver for the Canon TS3522 printer, although other apps are working properly. I don’t have another printer handy.
