"You can insert a line break to type multiple paragraphs of text in a table cell. You can also insert a tab.

1. Tap the cell, then tap .
2. Tap where you want the line break or tab to place the insertion point.
3. If the insertion point isn’t where you want it, drag it to reposition it.
4. Tap Insert, then tap Tab or Line Break.

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. While using Pages, with a document open, look to the top menu bar. There you will see the "Insert" menu, and can insert a line break there.
