Notify when left behind doesn't let you choose the address

When I try to set a location exception for Notify When Left Behind, the app insists on choosing something nearby instead of the address I'm specifically giving it. It even says "Don't notify at <proper address>?" in the pop up when tapping Done, but it still assigns a nearby address as the location. Why allow us to put in an address if you're just going to choose whatever comes up as my "current location"? I want MY address as the location, not my neighbor's.

Also, why can't I remove the erroneous addresses from the Suggestions?

Hey there MandyWho,

It sounds like you may be trying to add a trusted address to the Find My app. Make sure you're following these steps when you are inputting this address: Set separation alerts in case you leave a device behind in Find My on iPhone - Apple Support

Make sure to follow all the steps; especially step 4 under the section labeled 'Set up alerts for your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or AirPods'.

4. If you want to add a Trusted Location, you can choose a suggested location, or tap New Location, select a location on the map, then tap Done.

Kind regards!

I did that. The suggested location is wrong, so I enter my address. It changes the pin to my address, and when I tap Done, I get a pop-up that says "Don't notify at <my address>?". I choose "For this Device", and when it goes back to the "Notify When Left Behind" page, it lists the suggested location instead of my address. It also does that when I do a long press to get it to select the right address. It *insists* on tagging an address several doors down as my location no matter what I do.
