MacBook Pro 14inch 1tb 10cpu 16gpu

Is MacBook supposed to heat up quickly like playing games or just doing research on the internet because my MacBook heats up so bad when I play games from App Store? So is it supposed heat up that bad when I play games on it?

It's normal for a Mac to become warm with use: Keep your Mac notebook within acceptable operating temperatures - Apple Support.

Don't use keyboard covers, cases, or "skins".
