Undo’s keep disappearing…

So, after wiping my harddrive clean and reinstalling high sierra and a legit copy of logic 10.4.8 from the app store on my early 2009 mac pro, im still losing my undo’s.

I’m recording 13 audio tracks simultaneously and i have a few plugins setup and if i record a bit and then go to the edit tab eventually “undo recording” isnt there. If i close logic and open it back up they are back but eventually go away again.

Why would this be happening? I mean its a whole new clean setup.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.
