Purchase or subscribe app on the multi devices with same Apple ID

I am beginner of Apple eco-system, so sorry for that not knowing how account management in Apple works.

To be more specific, I would like to describe what I am trying to do.


At the moment, I am trying to sign in my Apple ID into 40 iPads.

I have already publish a private app with free charge on apple store connect.

I need to install this app to all those 40 iPads.


May I know is that possible and what should I do?

If not, is there any alternative ways to do that?

You can only use your Apple ID to sign into 10 devices/computers, with a maximum of 5 computers.


You need to look into the Business or Educational programs to see if one of them meets your need to use one Apple ID on 40 iPads.


 Business - Get Started - Apple.   -


Business Support.  -


 Apple Business Manager User Guide.   -


 Apple Business Manager - Use Managed Apple IDs with.   -


Get Support for Apple Business Manager.   -


Education - How to Buy - Apple.   -


School Manager User Guide.  -


Teacher Program Registration.  *


Teacher Support - Apple Support   -   form


Once that is set up, then you should be able to install the app on the 40 iPads.

Thanks for your response Eric !


Don't know why I successfully signed in to 40 devices with same Apple ID yesterday but this Apple ID didn't enroll into Apple business manager program.

I am afraid I might do something wrong on the set up.


By the way, I still need to install my private app to all my 40 iPads.

Enrolling into Apple business manager seems the only way to do that?

Or can I simply put my app on test flight?
