Charges don’t happen as if by magic. you had to do something to cause the charge.
Usually it can happen if you download an App with a free trial and you never cancel it. Free trials will renew into paid subscriptions.
Follow the steps here to identify the charge and cancel it if needed: link-> If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement - Apple Support
