mobileactivationd

Hello. I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Air with Big Sur. Today I've seen "mobileactivationd" in the activity monitor. I'm worried it'd be some type of malware. Is it normal for my computer to have that?

If you spend time looking at Activity Monitor, you're going to see any number of indecipherable names. What makes you think this one is malware related?

I'd advise leaving it alone. I've got it too and I bet if I look, our other four Macs have it also.

Thank you so much for your answer. Its name made me worry. It sounds like a malware that tries to active some things on my Mac. But since you've said that you also have it in your activity monitor as well (is that what you mean, isn't it?), I'm less worried know. Thanks a lot again. May Lord Jesus Christ bless you.
