I’ve had for HomePod mini for almost a year in December. It constantly disconnects when I’m listening to Spotify. When I try to reconnect it, the HomePod won’t play the sound but it’ll say it’s playing on my phone. I end up unhappy because I like the homepod but it’s frustrating when I only get to hear 2-3 songs before it randomly disconnects.

Try resetting the HomePod mini as outlined here:
If the issue persists, is it only with Spotify? If you play other audio via your HomePod mini, does the same problem persist?
If the issue is only with Spotify, we'd advise checking for an update on your iPhone, then reaching out to Spotify support for additional assistance.
