I have connected a bluetooth keyboard (Romanian layout) to my iPad. How do I make the Fn function always stay active when typing? There are some diacritics that I can't type unless I also press Fn. Thank you!

In your settings > general > keyboard > hardware keyboard, tap over at the right edge for Romanian and tell me which Romanian item you have checked. Do not use "automatic".
I was using the Romanian Standard. I switched to Romanian (just that) and... problem solved. Thanks a bunch, Tom!

Could you explain that in more detail? Apple doesn't use Fn to make diacritics, only Option and Option plus Shift.
If you provide specifics about the Romanian characters you need, I can give you the shortcuts.

Thank you for your quick answer! I'm using a Hama Key4All X300 bluetooth keyboard, with the Romanian layout.
The characters that I mentioned are: ă, î, â, ș, ț. Apart from „ă”, the remaining 4 characters are either swapped or missing. The only thing that I can do to is press Fn key, or, as you said, the Option key.
