Iphone SE "press home to open"

The setup asks me to "press home to open", but I have no idea what "home" refers to. I push the buttons on the sides, and nothing happens. What do I do? No instructions about this simple matter

On an iPhone SE, the home button is the round, indent at the bottom of the screen (when held in portrait orientation).
