My iPhone X is starting to get marks and spots (probably from the case). At first I could just wipe them off but this thing isn’t coming off. At the moment I can’t posts pictures but will if somebody replies to this message. They are like ting little black dots on the back glass.

Not much anyone can offer for you. iPhone X is long out of warranty and cosmetic issues wouldn't be covered under warranty anyway. Assuming performance of the phone isn't suffering, you live with the spots or hide them under a case, which isn't clear.
Remember, iPhone X was released 5 years ago, in 2017.
Yeah forgot about the age of the phone. Battery health is at 82% also.
Time for a new battery soon.
