Ive read that most if the issues of not suddenly not working faceid in notes mostly happened in 13pro max. I am experiencing the same issue. Out of nowhere i cannot now open my password protected notes, i think i know the password but still not working. Has anyone solved this to date?
i think ive written my password in my notes that i cant open. Sucks..
help anyone pls. Has anyone tried to restore? What happened? Im planning to do that later.

If you have forgotten the password for your Notes, you will not be able to get into them. You cannot reset the password either. While you can reset it for future Notes, it will not allow you into Notes that have already been made and locked. The only way to get into them is with the password.
