Receiving emails

Out of the blue, my email stopped receiving incoming messages. I have two different email accounts and the other one was working fine. Error message said password not recognize. Never had to put in a password, except when I set up the account.

That will not delete all of your existing mail unless you use POP mail. If you have an IMAP account, which is what most mail accounts are now, your mail is saved on the provider's servers, not your iPhone. If it is saying something about the password, rebooting the device is not going to help. You need to perform the steps I provided.
