This has happened a few times in photos. I select images, share via email, and as I write the email, I go to another app to look something up… big mistake, because when I go to Mail, or Photos, the email and everything I have written is no where to be found! It is not in drafts or Unsent in Mail.
can I find this email in progress somewhere so I do not lose everything I have written and can finish it? Thanks for any insights!

Thank you so much! I will try those methods. In the meantime, I think I figured it out. Going to mail, swiping the window up and down (of Mail, not switching apps), there was the email as a tab that popped up at the bottom.
