We agree this is unexpected behavior, especially since we see you're connected to a strong Wi-Fi network in your screenshot.
Let's rule out some other possible causes by confirming the following details:
- We see you have iOS 15 installed, but the latest version is iOS 15.6.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
- If you already have iOS 15.6.1 installed, we recommend a restart using the steps listed here: Restart your iPhone
- Where exactly in your Game Center settings is this message showing, or does it show as soon as you tap upon Settings > Game Center?
- Does the same issue occur if you try just using cellular(preferably with a stronger signal), or even with a Wi-Fi network in a different location?
