I found the above link helpful. The only thing is when I turned wifi off on my Apple Watch, the IP address that popped up in Terminal was from my iPhone. I turned wifi back on and clicked the link and that is when the IP address for my Apple Watch came through. Also, when I sent myself the iMessage from my Mac or iPhone, I was not able to click on it from my watch. I ended up sending myself and iMessage from my watch and then it showed up as a link I could click on. Hope this helps. It would be a whole lot simpler if Apple would just allow you to see your Apple Watch’s IP Address on the watch and in the Watch app on your phone.
