My Series4 Watch won’t update. I’ve tried lots of suggestions, but would like to try deleting the update file. Apple says: ” If the update won't start, open the Watch app on your iPhone, tap General > Usage >” ,and then delete the update file, but ‘Usage’ doesn’t exist. I looked on ‘Storage’ but there is no file listing there.

Try resetting the watch to factory settings
I did the ‘Erase Apple Watch Content and Settings’. When I paired my watch back to my iPhone, I restored from my backup file (a couple times now). The apple-affiliate store told me the backup would not retain the old update errors. I still get the same error message ‘Unable to verify update’.
Thanks. So any ideas on how to get my watch to update? I’m still on OS8.3, and the apple store has had me reset the watch and phone multiple times. They also ran diagnostics on both and found nothing wrong. I keep looking on line but haven’t found others with the same message:

Thanks, but all I see are my backup files and an option to delete the backup files.
Then the update file isn't on your phone;
It's in iphone settings not the watch app;
settings/general/iphone storage
