Downloading a Vimeo clip directly to iPad?

Hi there,

Is there a way to download a Vimeo (or Youtube) clip/movie directly on the iPad, so without conversion and on the iPad itself? I mean to use them for offline viewing.

I always use Acethinker video downloader to save online videos to my iPad Mini, works pretty well. It is a free cloud based software to download videos without install any software in your device. You just need to copy the video URL into the app box, and then click the Download button. The app will analytic the video and start the download process automatically.

You can with the GoodReader app from the app store.

Place finger on download link (Vimeo) and hold, copy link for the video. Open GoodReader... Web download... Enter URL... Hit ok... Download will start.

GoodReader can play 1920x1080 videos from Vimeo.

Just to help others out. You need the app called iCab on which you can download a module for youtube downloading. Works great!
