My iPhone 13 Is displaying “No SIM”

My phone is displaying “no sim”

Have removed sim and put back but still the same problem. Restarted the phone but still no luck. Do sims actually “die”?

Perhaps it's damaged. Ask your carrier for a spare SIM.

If the issue persists, and if you're sure your SIM is inserted correctly, since your iPhone is still covered by warranty, make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
