my family and i share the same Apple ID. But on my phone on my contact list it’s showing new contacts but for the same person, and on certain of the contacts it says social profile and then it has a 9 digit number

It is a horrible idea to share an Apple ID. They are free and you can use family sharing so they can access everything they were accessing before How to create a new Apple ID and Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support.
