I bought an Escient SE80 music server and it will network with ITUNES but it will only accept mp3 and a couple other file types so I need to convert what I can and then go back and burn the songs I can't and then import them back as MP3. I wish I knew more about this type of thing because I'm sure I'm gonna make this a lot more work than it needs to be. LOL

How can I easily transfer all my converted MP3 songs in ITUNES to the ESCIENT FIREBALL without doing it one song at a time?

If you have AAC format songs that are unprotected you can select them all in iTunes and then choose Advanced -> Convert Selection to MP3.

a) To find your AAC files, you can create a Smart Playlist: Kind contains AAC.

b) Then change the iTunes Import option to 'MP3 Encoder' - it's in iTunes Preferences, Advanced, Importing.

c) Then select the Smart Playlist you created in a), and do the conversion.

iTunes will duplicate all the AAC songs with MP3 equivalents. These you can then move to your music server.
