Clean your phone - Cleaning your iPhone - Apple Support
Wash and dry your hands then try again.
Try turning off touch assist.
If Touch ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
If that does not work make an appointment at the nearest Apple Store for service.
