How to stop Flash SMS/Class 0 SMS in iphone jio esim?

Recently i not only used MNP (mobile number portability) to move from airtel to jio but also converted my regular sim to esim. And now, I have started getting Flash SMS that opens up with an alert sound and consumes the entire screen till i don't click on "Dismiss".

The content is never urgent but Ads by Jio to recharge my other number or some scheme. but always by jio. I have complained it to Jio but no use.

I find this extremely intrusive, drains my battery if gone unnoticed and to be honest feels like borderline illegal way of marketing. I would like to stop it from happening in my iphone.

p.s.: I have already tried the standard suggestions like other community conversations. Is it different somehow for esims or jio?

I am trying relentlessly to get them to resolve it but they seem to not understand (or act like so) the difference between regular sms and Flash sms. It is quite frustrating to be honest. How is this legal?

Found this: When it comes to Reliance Jio, the procedure is complicated. Unfortunately, there isn't a SIM toolkit application for Android phones with Jio SIMs that allows you to turn off any network services. Contacting customer service at @JioCare and providing your mobile number is the best way to stop full-screen pop-up overlay ads in Jio. These advertisements for your number can be disabled at the server level.
