I have 15.6. Not 15.6.1. Is that a problem?

Choose Settings, General, and About. The current release is 15.6.1.

If you're registered in the iOS 16 beta, check the source you got it through.

go to Settings > General > Software Update, it will tell you if you're at the latest iOS
