Software update
I’m struggling to update my software... my phone is stuck on “estimating time remaining”... it doesn’t recognize that I’m connected to the WiFi and that I’ve plugged in my charger...

If your product list, under you question, is correct (it looks like your iPhone 7 is still running the prehistoric iOS 11 version), you might encounter many problems trying to update it to the latest version (now 15.6.1) wirelessly.
I suggest that you try to update it via computer (if you don't have a computer borrow one from your friends/neighbors, or ask for help at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider), then learn how to update your device manually if you're using a Mac with macOS Catalina or later, or if you're using a Mac with macOS Mojave or earlier or a Windows PC.
