Meta Marketplace crash on Weather app location request

Device: iPad 5th Gen

ios: 15.6.1

For a long time while using the Meta MarketPlace (via FaceBook) it would constantly crash & I could see the shadow of an app banner behind my device logon screen. Now I have installed the latest iOS (15.6.1) when MarketPlace crashes it comes up with the Weather app location request banner. I’ve confirmed that the Weather app is not installed on my device, so am at a loss as to how it is even happening
