After updating to macOS Monterey 12.5.1 and iOS 15.6.1 I cannot access article links on Twitter.
"t.co refused to connect. ERROR_CONNECTION_REFUSED" on the mac.
"Safari could not connect to the server" on iPhone.
Can't find any report/solution anywhere. Help. Thanks.
Yes, I have signed out, restarted, reinstalled the app many times, tried different browsers on the mac. It's the weirdest thing. Worked fine yesterday before I updated everything. Nothing changed from the wi-fi, hardware, etc... on my side.
Having said that, I think I am on to something. It works fine when I turn off wi-fi on the phone. Works fine when I connect my mac to my phone's hot spot. Something is different but it looks like an internet provider issue. Thanks for all your help.

Definitely something with the provider. Have one mac that has not been upgraded. Seeing the same issue. Something changed yesterday afternoon. Just happens to coincide with my other device updates.
Next is to call Cox. Always so thrilling to answer the same questions "Did you reboot the modem? Did you reboot your device?..." Aren't those the basic one does before calling tech support? Arrrghh ;-)
My iPhone works fine although I don't use the app. For that matter, I don't normally use Twitter. I just wanted to check for you. I don't know what the issue could be. Have you tried signing out of Twitter then signing back in?
Not having the same problem with Monterey 12.5.1. Haven't checked my iPhone.
I tried Brave. I tried Chrome. Same issue. Of course on the phone I use the Twitter app.
