i have changed my password on my notes 4 times as i cannot remember the old password and it is not changing just asking for the original password which i do not know

if you don't know the password for a locked note, you will not be able to access it. There is not a way to reset the password of lock notes. When you reset your locked notes password, that is for any notes you lock in the future.
You will have to guess your notes password (no limit to retries), if you entered a password reminder when you created the password, it will show. Otherwise, you will lose the note.
