I have a 2014 MacBook Air 11 In.with Big Sur.Trying to update Safari . Currently it is 15.6. I tried updating by the wheel just goes around.

Is anyone else having trouble? My Mac OS is Big Sur 11.6.8.

Is Software Update stuck on "Checking for updates" with no end in sight?


Several workarounds have been proposed, such as restarting your Mac in "Safe Mode" and checking for updates while in that mode, and / or resetting NVRAM.
