Upgrade annoyance
I am running Big Sur 11.6.8 MacBook Air 2017. I don't WANT TO UPGRADE. I want to keep auto updates on system and apps but nothing else. Tell me how to make the upgrade option go away. I don't need it.

Then you are telling your Mac you want to upgrade. You'll need to uncheck "Automatically keep my Mac up to date."
