The finder could not start up because the following system library could not be found, etc. What does this mean on a 1999 iMac. I inserted the disc and held down the C key and restarted but there was no change. Any help is appreciated.
Years ago, there was an Apple Support Document that addressed this issue. Due to the number of years that have passed, it has since been deleted. Try the following: Check the Extensions Folder for these 2 files: Macintosh Drag and Drop and DragLib. When found, delete them and restart the computer. Hopefully, that will correct the problem. If successful, empty the trash.
