The next step is to reset your iPad settings - but first, ensure that you have a precautionary backup of your iPad:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

When you are certain that you have a current iCloud or iTunes backup of your iPad (or if you decide to proceed without one), you can reset your iPad settings. Nothing should be lost - but the backup is there just in case. To reset your iPad settings:

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset All Settings

Start here:

If you are experiencing difficulties with adding or removing Apps to/from your iPad, you need to check your ScreenTime restrictions:

  • Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Adding Apps - ensure that this permission is set to Allow
  • Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps - ensure that this permission is set to Allow
