Since I updated my Mac OS with the latest security patch, I keep getting this ultra annoying popup message "connection request from ..."

if I leave it I will end up with hundreds of these little windows in the back ground. I can't cancel it and I have no idea what is causing it or what Is trying tot connect to my computer.

Hello, mosquito0371.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

When you see the pop-up message for the Bluetooth connection, are you not seeing the device right after "Connection Request from:"? Typically the device name will appear there. This should help identify what device is trying to connect.

Also, do you have the option to checkmark, ignore this device? If you've done this step, does the request continue to still happen?

If you go to your System Preferences > Bluetooth, are you seeing the device appear here? This article can help with that step: Connect a Bluetooth device with your Mac - Apple Support

"Connect a Bluetooth device with your Mac

Connect your Mac with a Bluetooth keyboard, mouse, trackpad, headset, or other audio device.

  1. Make sure the device is turned on and discoverable (see the device’s documentation for details).
  2. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Bluetooth .
  3. Select the device in the list, then click Connect.
  4. If asked, click Accept (or enter a series of numbers, then press Enter).

You need to connect your Mac with the device only once. The device remains connected until you remove it. To remove a device, Control-click its name."

Keep us updated.

Cheers!
