I don’t want safari but you are making me keep it. Please delete it.

How do I delete safari?

I’ve tried several times and apple just places it back

Since Safari is an integral part of iOS you cannot delete it, but you can remove it from your Home screen if its presence or actions bother you. Tap and hold like any other app, and then choose Remove App.


Then, if you want to completely prevent Safari from doing anything, Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > turn on. Then, Allowed Apps > Safari > turn off.


That should do it.


Certain built-in apps can be deleted: Delete built-in Apple apps from the Home Screen on your iOS 14 or later or iPadOS device or Apple Watch - Apple Support.
