How do I delete a text box in PAGES?

A Text box is an object. You delete it the same way as you would delete an image, a Shape, or any other object you have placed in the document.
Click the textbox or its text to Activate the box.
If you see the boxes boundary, but do not see 'handles' at each corner, click one of the boundaries to Select the box.
If the 'handles' are the letter 'x', the box is Locked.
- With the box Selected, go to the Arrange menu and choose 'Unlock"
If the 'handles' are small white squares, continue to the next step.
With the box selected, press the delete key.
Done.
