Locate all moved iTunes files
Here's a workaround that sped things up a lot for me. The problem with the resolution replies is that they refer to songs in the library with exclamation points next to them, indicating that the library is not finding the files in the expected place, but don't mention that each song needs to be double clicked on to establish that exclamation point. So, double click each song ( ***Note that, with each double click, will come a prompt asking if you want that file found ). Press Alt and F4 simultaneously to close the prompt, in between double clicking each song. When all songs of a given album have been double clicked and the exclamation point appears next to each song, double click one of the songs and follow the prompts to the new location of that album's files. Upon clicking the location of the one file, you will be asked if you want to "find all". Simply click find all and the library will reorient to the files' new location for all exclamation point associated songs from that album. Repeat for each album. This is not perfect, but is substantially faster than trying to do the entire process for each file.
