I am unable to access the globe icon - I would like to change the skin color of my emojis. when I went to settings, to general etc the instructions given on this site did not fit my settings. I am an elderly woman and not very computer literate. thanks for any assistance you can give.

The globe or the emoji face may change depending on the app you are using to write in.
When you tap it you will see a whole page of emojis yes, with even more if you swipe from right to left. Some can be changed to different colour skins, some cannot. If you find the one you want and tap and hold it, if it can be changed to another colour it will display the ribbon of shades as in my photo.
Once you choose one it will stay in the first page of "favourites" for quite a while in the colour you chose.

Slide your finger ir thumb along the line to choose your colour

Thank you - amazingly now the globe is there!!! I tried what you were telling me and all I got was a lot of emojis AAAAARGH - thanks for trying. I might have to wait until my 36 y/o grandson is here to help me.
