error 1100 and error 2009

i forgot passcode on an old device ipad 2

connected to itunes on PC via cable and getting error messages on the restore

PC is up to date , Cable is fine , using the latest version of Itunes

Tried find i pad on i cloud but it finds my current one not this old one

I just want to wipe the i pad to reset the passcode

Any ideas ?

Hi, I followed apple's instructions after i forgot my passcode, but they say wait for itunes to download and retry the restore. Well, it's now on 'Preparing ipad for restore' and my ipad's recovery mode has obviously timed out. Brand new iPad. Customer never entered passcode. I am a computer technician. A customer has bought in a brand new iPad to the store. He never finished the out of box setup before he shut it off so it was never actually connected to a computer. He did not enter a password or pass code, but it is now asking for one. How can I do a factory reset so he can start from scratch? Also, when I try to connect to iTunes to do a reset I get a 0xE8000015 error code on the computer and the iPad will only open to diagnostic mode, not reset/restore mode.

iPad unavailable I have an iPad I bought that I forgot the passcode for and now it’s stuck on “iPad unavailable” and I’ve put it in recovery mode and connected to iTunes to restore but there is an error that keeps happening. The software goes 3/4 of the way, the iPad resets and goes to same screen.. How can I reset this iPad?
