FindMy on Watch

I am trying to enable FindMy on Apple Watch.

It says I need to update security settings on paired iPhone.

There are no settings to update on my iPhone.

What do I do to enable FindMy on Watch?

Once it’s paired with your iPhone, it’s automatically set up when you turn on Find My iPhone.

Set up Find My on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac - Apple Support

Then on your watch you can check Find My Network is turned on:

  1. On your Apple Watch, open Settings.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Scroll down until you see your Apple Watch
  4. Tap your watch name, then tap Find My Watch.
  5. Make sure that Find My network is turned on.
