I have a similar problem after updating to 15.6.1 on both iphone and ipad. I called Apple support and, to their great credit, they tried hard to isolate the problem and suggested various solutions such as rebooting the device and resetting network settings. Nothing worked and they finally advised me to reset both devices. I would really like to avoid this hassle……and hopefully an easier fix will be forthcoming.

After the update, when I plug my IPhone 12 mini and IPad in, they do not charge. There is no way two adapters, two cords, and multiple electrical outlets all went bad. The common denominator is the 15.6.1 update, I had zero problems before then. Like you, I am just a few months out of warranty but I don’t believe it is a battery issue. Apple messed something up with the latest update.

Since the update, I can't send photos via text to anyone without an iPhone and they can't send them to me! I've restarted, done a hard reset, and looked through every setting option I can think of with no luck. My last ditch would be to do a factory reset but, I really don't want to do that... any other suggestions?

On my 12 and IPad, apps are slow to load since the update. Bigger problem I’m having is devices frequently won’t charge. There is no way both adapters, two cords, and multiple electrical plugs went bad at the same time. The update caused the problems.

Several of my apps aren't working now, including Simplisafe. I can no longer enable or disable my alarm from my phone.
