HomePod - Why do other members of the household see what's playing on my homepod on their lock screens?

Why can other household members see and control what's playing on my home pod? I understand that this could be accessed through the homekit app but certainly not on their lock screens! I tried to find some settings that would solve this but with no luck.

I don't want to remove them from the household as I want them to have access to the rest of the accessories.

Is this the desired behavior?

I don’t like it. It happens with family who are not in my “Home”. They’re just visiting and the teenagers thought it was playing on their phones and stopped the music! Probably because they’re connecting to my wifi. I managed to fix it on mine by changing the speaker access settings to Only People Sharing This Home.
