Greetings 👋 For some reason I cannot update some apps in App Store. When I click "update," the "update" button deactivates for a couple of seconds and becomes active again. The problem occurs just for some apps so it cannot be an issue with billing information.
The problem occurs for MS Office, WhatsApp, Trello and Evernote. Zero idea why.

If you can't make purchases or update apps, including free apps, you need to update your payment method or add a new one.
You need to have a payment method on file, even if the app you want to download is free

If you update your payment method or add funds to your Apple ID balance, It would take about 1 to 3 business days in order to process.

If there is an update for macOS desktop apps, a notification will appear.

Is there an update for Trello you can see that at the iccon App Store in the Dock.
In principle, this applies to apps that you have downloaded via AppStore.
Right. And the notification appears in the App Store. Then I click the update button, it deactivates for a couple of seconds and then the button is active again. No download. It happens in the case of just some apps while others download just fine. Also occurs only on the admin account.
Thanks a lot but it doesn’t seem to be the issue. The payment method is up to date. Plus, some apps update and some don’t so I believe that changing the payment method won’t do the trick.
