Unable to remove AirPods from Find My device list

Slightly annoying glitch with the Find My app

I accidentally tapped on someone else’s AirPods that were within range when trying to connect mine. I cancelled straight out so they never connected but now they keep appearing in the Find My app decide list.

No matter how many times I delete them from the list after a couple of hours they just come back.

anyone come across this or know how to remove them permanently?

Forcing a disconnect from FIND MY - Airpods Pro 2 I just recently got my airpods pro 2 replaced, and maybe my old set are still connected to find my? I remove it from the app and it says it will reconnect if they're connect to the internet. As soon as I remove them, they reappear. These AirPods are in an Applestore or have been shipped off somewhere. I have no access to them anymore. I also assume they still cant be connected to the internet after over a week since being replaced. I've reset my current airpods and disconnected and reconnect them thinking it was a glitch. How do I force these out of FInd My??? Thanks

Why does Find my app show my AirPods are “outside of case” Howdy, my AirPods have been shown as “outside of case” since December - I have not lost or misplaced them. The find my app doesn’t seem to be communicating with them however I can still connect and use them. I’m also able to edit them in the settings or with the pop up menus when the case lid is opened. My phone is currently running the latest OS as of today 3-30-23. Thanks.

AirPods appear in my device list but can’t remove. Hi So I used to have AirPods a long time ago and they keep reappearing in find my app, even though when I sign in to appleid.apple.com no such device is showing. I have tried removing the device in the find my app, it disappears for a while then all of a sudden they are back. I dont know how to fix, while it’s annoying it’s not causing any other issues. Has anyone experienced this? If so how do I get rid of them permanently? Thanks john
