Hi,
Look it up on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Upgraded-Delivery-Pixelbook-A83460A2/dp/B07ZVKTP53
It's got over 18,000 reviews, 92% of which are 4 or 5 star. Scroll down to reviews and click on Read reviews that mention MacBook Air and there are 97 reviews, some of which are specific to the M1. Overall, the reviews are mostly positive, but see below.
Some mention similar to this one: beware if you're trying to use this with an M1 Macbook Air that only ships with a 30W adapter. This hub sucks 15W on the input, so you're only left with 15W to the computer, which falls below the minimum charging threshold on the M1. It's basically not a powered passthrough unless you buy a higher capacity power brick.
So it appears you'd need a stronger power adapter than what the MBA comes with.
Then there is this one (April 7, 2021), part of which says: There are several articles online about a recent Mac update to prevent “ 2019 and later MacBook Pros, and 2020 and later MacBook Airs were being damaged when connected to third-party USB-C hubs and docks” anker products are mentioned specifically in the article. Apple won’t help as they say this product is a “non-compliant powered USB-C hubs and docks”.
Based on this, I would do further research to see what this review is talking about. Obviously this hub works fine for some M1 MBAs, so someone posting here that it works for them is not enough; I'd want to get to the bottom of what this review is referring to.

The hub provides no power by itself. To get 85 watts of pass-through power, you need to power the hub with a separate 100 watt power adapter. If you use your 30 watt power adapter to power the hub, only 15 watts will come through, which is not enough to power your MBA.
Sorry, I don't use a hub/dock, so I don't have one to recommend. I suggest determining which capabilities you need (USB-A, HDMI, Ethernet, etc.) and doing an internet search with terms such as "best mac usb-c (or thunderbolt 3/4) hub" then do some reading on the results, such as these two:
https://www.macworld.com/article/668462/best-usb-c-hubs-and-adapters-for-mac-2022.html
https://www.pcmag.com/picks/the-best-macbook-docking-stations
I'd also suggest starting a new thread here with something similar to the search term above to see if those who are familiar with these hubs/docks have suggestions.
Wow thank you sir for the information. I would like to give you one more trouble. Can you suggest me the dongle that is compatible with MBA M1. I have been struggling with Mac without any other ports which is much required for my work and the dongle things are too complex to understand. It would be great help if you can suggest me the most reliant one.
And what if I don't plug charger using this 15W adapter, just charge directly from Mac charging port only. Will that work on this case? I have decided not to use power cable on adapter, as I read most of the user Mac bricked because of same reason. I think it will be fine using other ports in an adapter without using the power port on it for charging purpose. What do you think? Please insight me. Thank you @tjk.
I am bit confused with wattage. My MBA m1 2020 power brick is 30W. And the product link above have 100W PD. So, adapter uses 15W for its power, so total output is 100-15=85W (MBA M1 power brick= 30W). Won't it be fine even if I charge using this adapter, it's going to output 85W where the requirement (of 30W) is meet. And even if I can't charge using the adapter, won'y it will be fine to use it without using it to power the device? I am still confused with my decision to buy it or not. There are some other adapter options available too, but they are comparatively expensive.
But suggestion for everyone, research before buying adapter. The compatibility issues are seen on many of the adapter including the link below. It really depends on the user usability and dependencies to use it.

Oh, now it altogether makes sense. Thank you for all your response and insight. So, will it be a problem if the dongle is not used for powering a Macbook, but only for USB hubs? Anyways, thanks for your support.
Sorry, but I don't know.
