Add to Frozen Header Columns

Hi,

There are Frozen Header Columns A-E.

Is there any way to add one more column to them?

No.

Numbers tables may have up to five Header Rows, up to five Footer rows and up to five Header columns.

Header Rows must be contiguous, and must be the first (top) rows of the table.

Header columns must be contiguous, and must be the leftmost columns of the table.

Freezing a Header Row can be done only if the Table containing that row has only one Header row.

If the table has more than one Header Row, then Freezing applies to all of those Header rows.

The same is true with respect to Header columns.

Freezing Header rows keeps those rows visible in the document window as the document is scrolled upward. The frozen Header row(s) will remain visible as long as there is at least one 'body row' still visible in the window.

Behaviour of frozen Header columns is similar when the table is scrolled to the left.

Tables in Numbers may also have up to five Footer rows. These share some of the properties of Header rows and columns, but are not able to be 'Frozen."

Consider the design of your Table. Header rows and columns are generally used to label the columns or rows of the table, with data entry and calculations placed mostly in the body rows and columns of the Table.

Barry
